Hear Us Roar is a research project led by one of the key leaders in aerial dance in the UK, Daniela Essart.

The project explores questions around gender and sexuality, scars and experience and joy and resilience in the web of life.

Daniela brings together a group of older women working in crochet with an intergenerational group of veteran women aerialists and non - binary emerging artists.

We documented two weeks of studio research in Brighton at South East Dance culminating in a performance.
