The Echoes of Resistance project is continuing across the UK, South Africa and Barbados. The work includes a touring exhibition of photographers by Aneesa Dawoojee, talks by Joseph Jeffers and film screenings.

The film has been screened at all four branches of the Home Office.

We are so proud to have been invited to work with Joseph and his team in this project.

The film in Joseph’s words ‘encapsulates the enduring spirit of defiance and resilience in the face of oppression. The title reflects the idea that resistance is not merely a fleeting moment but a powerful echo…’

The film documents research that includes writing workshops, creative dance sessions, discussions and a performance.

We shot over three weeks in Croydon
